The Superior Spider-Human is a superhero comic book series published past Marvel Comics that ran between January 2013 and September 2014. It was written past Dan Slott, with artwork by Ryan Stegman, Humberto Ramos, and Giuseppe Camuncoli. The series continues from the events of the 2012 storyline "Dying Wish", in which Peter Parker is killed off and replaced with his nemesis Otto Octavius, who swapped consciousnesses with Parker and left him to die in his decaying body to ensure his own survival. Even so, Octavius becomes inspired by Parker's dying wish to accept a new Spider-Man protect New York City, and decides to take on the mantle himself, becoming a better Spider-Man than Parker ever was, and a meliorate human than Octavius.

The serial is a continuation of the long running serial The Amazing Spider-Human, which concluded with The Astonishing Spider-Human being #700. The Superior Spider-Human being also crosses over into other Spider-Man titles such as Avenging Spider-Human and its superseding title Superior Spider-Homo Squad-Upwards, in improver to other Curiosity titles. As Spider-Homo of World-44145 drops James, he turns on the cameras and fights Doctor Octopus who summons all his former harnesses to assist him by rescuing James and entrapping Spider-Man of Earth-44145.
